March 4 – Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signs into law, HB 21, a bill initiated by Allegra Carpenter, carried by Representative Dayman Hochman-Vigil, and supported by a team of others to prohibit non-disclosure agreements in sexual harassment settlement agreements, thus protecting the voices of victims, and preventing future abuses. The legislation passed through the NM Legislature in a 30 day session, having received the support and message of the Governor.
